Dynabrade 69035 Review 2017

Dynabrade 69035 Dynorbital Silver Supreme Non-Vacuum Random Orbital Sander

My Review of the Dynabrade 69035 Random Orbital Sander

BY ENDA MCLARNON

As you have seen if you checked out my top rated random sander comparison table, Dynabrade lead the way when it comes to the pneumatic version of these sanders. They really are the best brand and as long as you have a suitable compressor, it is hard to go wrong, if you pick one of these.

Now it is fair to say that most people will go for the electric corded option as most people don't own a compressor. For anyone who does own one, then it is all about making the shift, and buying tools powered in this way. In reality only people who do this for a living, or can afford those will go for this option.

Our Rating:

Key Features of the Dynabrade 69035

This Dynabrade 69035 model is a 5" sander and costs around $185 but gets quite exceptional ratings from those who have made the plunge and bought this one. Like all the Dynabrade sanders, this one also has the option for a vacuum conversion kit, and of course we would always recommend using that option.

This one uses 5 blades to perform the sanding options, and clearly that works extremely well. For those who have used a pneumatic sander before, you will already know that they do a great job. This particular model is the most expensive on our list and it works great. The only real question is can you afford to buy it?

Who Would Buy This Dynabrade Model?

Any of this Dynabrade range work really well, and if you are a professional woodworker, I think this is one of the best that you can buy.

Main Review

Any of this brand range work well but the 69035 has all the important bells and whistles. It also comes with a lifetime warranty and it does not get much better that that. The 69035 is light in weight and yet very powerful with up to 12,000 rpm and an air consumption of 16 SFCM.

So if you need to sand or finish wood, metal, primers and fillers, even composites and harder materials like stone and marble, then this will be a good choice for you. It has a 3/16" random orbit.

The comfort platform (wrist rest) is removable but does offer good hand and wrist support, and of course that makes this sander better to use, over longer periods of time. More importantly in my opinion it offers increased protection against the cold air exhaust blowing on your arm or wrist.

The Throttle - When you push the throttle lever, it slips up into the grip and that helps a lot as it takes any pressure off the palm of your hand.

“This is a high end product but really does make sanding the simplest of tasks ”

Dynabrade 69035 SUMMARY & VERDICT

Now I think some of the electrical corded ones like the Makita BO5O31K do an excellent job, but I do understand what the buyer is saying. These pneumatic options for Dynabrade are something special, and this 69035 model is one of their best.

Below you will find a very good video review of this product.
